The XiaoYitong 4G DTU device is characterized by its small size, high speed, low latency, and ease of use. With simple configuration, it enables bidirectional transparent transmission between serial devices and network servers. The product uses a 2.54mm spring terminal block for easy wiring, supports DIN rail and mounting hole installation, making it easy to integrate into IoT projects. The 4G DTU device supports two connections, MQTT protocol, and can be connected to platforms like Alibaba Cloud, OneNet, Baidu Cloud, and Huawei Cloud for convenient IoT applications.

This article focuses on the product's security configuration and quick AT command features. If you wish to use quick AT commands to configure the product, you must first set up a "Security Configuration Password" to enable the quick AT command function. Similarly, open the configuration software and select "Advanced Settings" to access the "Set Security Configuration Information" option.

Here, you can find the relevant configuration options. First, enable the "Security Configuration" function, then set the "Security Configuration Password." Only after this can you enable the "Quick AT Commands" function. The 4G DTU device supports three modes: srial port, network port, and SMS. In this tutorial, we demonstrate the serial port method. The configuration for the other methods is largely the same, with minor differences in the setup process.

Once the setup is complete, save the changes and restart the device. At this point, when entering the configuration mode, you will need to enter the correct password to proceed. If the password is incorrect, the system will display an error and prevent entry into the configuration mode.

Next, use a serial tool and ensure that the serial port parameters are correctly configured. Also, ensure that the device has not entered the configuration mode. Use the quick command to query the version information (the quick AT command format is: "configuration password" * "AT command").
