PCB (Printed Circuit Board) antennas are rigid and offer slightly better structural stability for the signal pattern. If space is tightly confined and non-flat, choose FPC.

Q2: What is the benefit of a spring antenna (TH series) for modules like the E07 or E220 series?

A: Spring antennas like the TX433-TH-3 are incredibly cost-effective and space-saving. They solder directly onto the main PCB board alongside your E07 or E220 module, eliminating the need for IPEX cables or SMA connectors. They are ideal for high-volume, low-cost smart devices like smart hotel locks or remote controls.

Q3: Can I use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi antenna for a 2.4GHz ZigBee or BLE module?

A: You cannot place an FPC/PCB antenna inside a sealed metal cabinet, as the metal blocks RF signals. You should purchase an IPEX-to-SMA adapter cable. Connect the IPEX end to your module, mount the SMA female end to a hole drilled in your cabinet, and screw on a Rubber Antenna (e.g., the -JK- or -JZ- series) on the outside.
