M31-U Series Second Generation High-Performance Distributed I/O Modules

This series of high-performance distributed I/O hosts supports standard Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU protocols, suitable for data acquisition and control. The device is equipped with 10/100M adaptive dual Ethernet interfaces and supports switch functionality. The internal bus speed can reach up to 1ms. It features a reset function for both digital and analog outputs in case of network failure, ensuring recovery to a preset state after communication interruption.

The modular design allows users to flexibly expand the system according to their actual needs. When the existing configuration is insufficient for specific application requirements, users can easily add matching I/O expansion modules without replacing the entire system, effectively saving costs and simplifying the field deployment process. The device integrates real-time status diagnostics to help continuously monitor communication status.

This product allows a maximum of 16 I/O expansion modules (including the host itself) to be connected and is built to EMC Level 3 protection standards. I/O inputs/outputs, RS485, and power supply are fully isolated, providing excellent electromagnetic compatibility, outstanding performance, and high reliability.

Dual communication interfaces for flexible networking:

Supports both ModBus TCP (network port) and ModBus RTU (RS485) dual-protocol dual-network port design, supports switch functionality, and can connect multiple devices in series.

Supports multi-channel I/O expansion:

Maximum of 16 I/O expansion modules (including the host itself) can be connected.
Supports any combination and splicing of DI, DO, AI, and AO.

High-performance data acquisition and control:

Supports quick ModBus address setting via DIP switches.

Includes host computer software supporting rapid debugging, parameter configuration, and status monitoring.

Supports reverse polarity protection, opto-isolation, and EMC level 3 protection
In case of communication interruption, the IO can be set to a preset safe state.

Supports both positioning hole mounting and guide rail mounting.

U-Series High-Performance Distributed I/O Extension Modules:

These distributed I/O extension modules feature a scalable design and require the use of our U-Series distributed I/O hosts (currently available with Modbus and Profinet hosts).
